The next morning, Remy woke with a smile on his face and reached out to pull her close, only to find the bed empty. He sat up quickly and listened for any sound in the house. When nothing was heard, he jumped out of bed, calling out to his pride.

Remy climbed out of bed and walked into his bathroom to take a fast shower. He had a lot to do today, starting with checking in with Azai to see if he had any ideas what was going on around his land. He had a mate to bite and a group of actors to teach all about lions.

Relax, Remy, she’s walking with Bailey. Nothing to worry about. She said you snored like a bear. Bertha’s snort of laughter made the last part of her message muffled. Remy huffed and hurried through the shower. He was eager to get his meeting with the wolf alpha over then come back and kiss his mate.
